Closed Require communication disorders to be included on any personal records

All people including children who have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD or any other communication disorder should have this information included on records seen by public services of any kind, if requested.

This should help ensure that people are aware and can act accordingly.

Whenever I go to the hospital with my child who is ASD, she is reprimanded for depending on her parent. It is belittling to her. They usually change their approach when it is announced that she is ASD. BUT that

is not something you want to be doing all the time. Clearer records, combined with better training of staff could help overcome this.
