Closed Make self-defence lessons mandatory in schools

Self-defence is an important thing, especially for girls. During their lifetime around 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse, and around 1 in 5 will experience some form of sexual assault, which is a huge issue. If they knew how to protect themselves it would be better for them.

If it is implemented as a class that is mandatory for schools to do, more woman/girls would have access to the skills to protect themselves. If it's taught at a young age they could have a way to protect themselves.
