Rejected petition reparation for black African soldiers who fought with Britiain during WWII .
More than half a million black African soldiers who fought in the British army during the second world war were paid up to three times less than their white counterparts. The money should go to charities which support these veterans such as the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League
More details
It has been a constant injustice to claim that their efforts were appreciated during the war, but whereas other groups who have suffered injustice during WWII have received reparation, these soldiers still have not received their due, just one of the many injustices heaped upon them, from being denied positions in the military http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/worldwars/wwtwo/colonies_colonials_01.shtml), to being excluded (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7984436.stm). sorry is not enough

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you'd like reparations to soliders and their families, or whether you'd like the Government to start a fund to support black African veterans.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
