Rejected petition Votes for 16s and over

Let people aged 16 and over be able to attend elections and vote for prime ministers and decisions for the country.

So the country can have a more varied opinion between more varied ages so our society can be much more helpful and fair to not only adults but for people aged 16 and over too

Why was this petition rejected?
