Rejected petition Make Cat Calling an illegal and criminal offences

I believe the government should make the action of cat calling (shouting out sexual remarks to girls and women) a criminal offence, punished the same as verbal abuse. Cat calling can make girls and women feel exposed and unsafe the same way verbal abuse can, and therefore should be treated as such.
