Closed petition Publish details of arts and heritage package and provide guidance for sectors

The Government should publish detailed criteria for fair distribution of the arts and heritage package, including how freelancers across the sector will be able to access this, and urgently publish guidance venues require to affordably reopen, including No Earlier than dates, to allow planning.

More details

In order to preserve the wider ecosystem venues and arts organisations rely on to make work, the Government must commit to protect freelancers. 50% of the Creative Industries are self-employed workers. The Government must highlight exactly where all freelancers can get support, as a Grants For Arts style system is competitive and doesn’t support all freelancers.
