Closed petition Have a person in all education institutions responsible for dealing with racism

In schools/universities today BAME students may experience racism in their day to day lives, however in many cases when it is reported it is either swept under the rug, turned on the victim, or simply ignored so that the reputation of the school is not tarnished.

These issues must be raised as from my experience and from the stories I have heard it has not been dealt with at all and most people feel as if there is no one to turn to. There should be someone that these students can report the incidents so that they can be dealt with while also raising awareness. It is especially important for children in younger years as they'll grow and continue to have these behaviors.
