We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Create a register of people guilty of race-related offences

The Government should create a public register of people found guilty of race-related offences, similar to that of the Sex Offenders register. Too little is done to prevent racism and take action against people guilty of racism. A public register should change this.

More details

We need to stop letting people think exercising racism is ok. This allows it to grow and fester. I urge the Government, for safety and public order, to establish an official register in place for serious offenders, for the safety of potential victims, and for employers who may be putting their employees at risk of mental and physical harm.
