Closed petition Ban foreign contributions to political parties & sanction countries that attempt

Foreign & foreign connected contributions to political parties should be banned to ensure there is no undue influence. Any country that interferes in our Electoral process should be sanctioned and face major consequences. We should have something like the US: 52 USC 30121.

As laid out in the Russia Report, foreign governments have been attempting to interfere with our election process.

We should ensure that there are severe financial and political consequences from those attempts. This needs to happen to protect our democracy, and to ensure that any influence is countered.
