Closed petition Conduct an urgent review for the long-term care of the elderly

The 21st century is the century of the ageing society. The current care system does not support the long term care of the elderly. Do all politicians understand the value of high-quality care? What will it take to get social care as a top priority for government?

More details

Does the government not have a duty of care for the older population as they are likely to be the survivors of medicines which have provided them with a life line? That life should have a quality of life associated with it and not just an existence. We need to see continued and increased investment in social care by the government to ensure a sustainable system fit for the 21st Century. Fact – one in three girls born today will live beyond 100!
