Rejected petition Stop 'Karen' being used to describe racist behaviour in the Tabloids & Media

We would like for the media to stop using our name 'Karen' as a term for racist people. It's defamatory and bullying towards all the Karen's in the world.
As with all social media and tabloid papers they need to be held to account when they use our name as a blanket term for offensive abhorrent behaviour.

The Government is not responsible for the language used by the media. This is matter for individual media outlets and the independent regulators or the broadcast and print media.
