Closed petition Require travellers to take a Covid-19 test when leaving the UK

It should be made mandatory to take a Covid-19 test before leaving the UK, to help other countries have confidence that arriving travellers are not infected, and help identify people who have been in the UK and are infected with Covid-19.

This should reduce the risk of travellers spreading Covid-19 abroad. The Government could also encourage other nations to put in place similar arrangements, so people can be tested before coming back to the UK, which could reduce the need for people to self-isolate.
