Closed Reject any proposals to abolish District Councils in Lancashire

We call upon Parliament and Government to reject any proposals in regard to Lancaster District Council being merged within a Newly Formed Unitary Authority with Blackpool.

The proposal by Geoff Driver The Leader of Lancashire County Council, has not had engagement with the Leaders of Lancashire’s councils and more importantly the community in a manner of mutual respect through engagement. The community must have a say in regard to the Future of Local Government in Lancashire.
