To remove Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) on legally required insurance which costs each UK household an average of £223 per year. This tax hits the lowest income families hardest.

The pressure on household and business finances may well lead to people not being able to afford insurances they have always relied on. The social and economic consequences of uninsured vehicles on the road and uninsured businesses means that the Government needs to act now to avoid personal and professional tragedies.
