Hold a national referendum on whether the British people want to reform the Lords asking if they would prefer the House of Lords to be made up of democratically elected members or not.

The current system of appointments is archaic, undemocratic and open to corruption. We believe that it is a waste of taxpayer money to pay members of the House of Lords who have not been democratically elected.
