Closed petition Ban the use of all fireworks in order to reduce air and noise pollution.
Understand that fireworks have no place in a forward-thinking country that strives to reduce pollution and simply ban their use indefinitely.
Allowing and supporting the use of fireworks undermines our planet-friendly ethos.

Petitions Committee report on fireworks
Last year, the Petitions Committee investigated the issue of fireworks, after so many people signed petitions calling for greater restrictions on their sale and use by the general public. The Committee heard from people and organisations on all sides of the argument about fireworks.
The Committee's report, with recommendations to the Government, was published on Tuesday 5 November 2019.
