The individual should be allowed to decide whether to pay into the NHS or private healthcare schemes. National insurance contributes to the NHS, in theory, a wonderful idea yet in practice totally inept.

Huge health centres appear all over yet the decent, honest people still have to rely on costly private health cover to see them right.

People should be given the right to pay into the NHS or a private health care scheme rather than paying the obligatory national insurance and an additional expensive premium for private healthcare to ensure a quality service people expect to receive anyway but don't.
