Britain's roads are in a shocking state! At the moment the money we pay as vehicle excise duty is paid into the coffers of the exchequer along with all the other taxes we pay and is then divvied up as the government deems fit. It's about time it was used to pay to improve our roads like it was originally when it was actually called road tax!
