Given that the business case for HS2 has been totally discredited, I ask that the government rescinds its decision to proceed with HS2, making the reversal decision public immediately.
I would further request that any future transport initiatives will include re-investing in the UK canals and waterways system, much of which still remains, to reduce reliance on road and rail for the carriage of non-perishable freight.
