Closed No VAT on essentials e.g. clothes, cleansing products, toilet roll, etc

The Government brands these everyday essential items as luxury when it comes to VAT, yet they say how important it is to:
1. wash your hands with soap to stop diseases spreading
2. wear clothes to keep warm and because in public its the law
3. live in a clean environment to stop you getting ill

I ask the Government to remove VAT on these items as it is not justified because of these reasons
