Rejected petition Bring back Hanging for murderers and peadophiles

In light of the recent, extremely sad and high profile cases there needs to be an ultimate deterent, namely the hangmans noose, prison does work, it gets criminals off the streets, however, there are some people that have committed such henious crimes that they do not deserve the right of rehabilitaion, and given that some cannot be rehabilitated it is unfair for the public to pay for lengthy prison terms for such people, they should be taken to a place to be hung from the neck until dead.
