Closed third party mobile phone charges

third party charges are added to your phone bill and taken from your account without any consent or notification.these charges can be for something you have purchased then failed to stop subscription(without realising you had subscribed to anything.These charges can also occur simply by one of these companies obtaining your mobile number.Network providers are doing nothing to stop this problem( i have read that they receive a commission from the companies involved) in the UK but a law has been passed in the USA banning third parties from simply helping themselves to your cash via network providers.I would like a similar law applied here in the UK?
