Petition Make all foods have full ingredients listed including sources of ingredients

Make all foods sold in the UK have to show full details of all ingredients used including any used in the manufacturing process. This would include all food sold in shops and restaurants.This would help allergy sufferers and people wanting to control what they eat in order to have a healthier diet.

For food sold in shops this should be

Examples of the changes are
"Vegetable oil" would have to listall of the vegetables;
"Fructose syrup" would have to say what it was produced from, i.e. corn syrup, sugar syrup, etc;
"starch" would have to say wheat starch, tapioca starch, maize starch, etc;
beer manufacturers would have to state what they used for "Finings", e.g. fish.
Chemicals made from foodstuffs shoud also say what they are made from,e.g. Acetic acid, Calcium stearate and Xanthan gum can be made from maixe so should list maize as the source where appropriate.
