Alcohol and gambling activities are only permitted to those of age. 18 on both accounts with the exception of 16 for the national lottery. However advertisers are aggressively taking up huge advertisement space on tv at all hours. Especially the sports channels were there is continuously gambling associated ads. Whilst tobacco advertisements were banned throughout the media in the UK the alcohol and gambling industry can advertise 24/7. Their needs to be some restrictions applied to help protect the most vunrable in society and protect our next generation.
