Purpose of this e-Petition is for the Government to provide the UK online sellers a platform where they can raise issues with an independent commission who can then work as ombudsman and give their honest opinion about actions like fees hike,account closer and other issues. EBay,Amazon,Paypal etc should now come under the purview of ombudsman
Government can create a body who can regulate online marketplaces including maximum fees,fair policies and best practices
If controlling these companies is difficult as per the law then government should go ahead and established a similar online market place which provide guarantee in case of buyer complains,similar kind of system which amazon,ebay or paypal provides but this is protected by the government
There must an ombudsman who is specialized in online selling issues and it can, not only has the power to penalize this market places but also has the power to penalize online seller who found in wrongdoing
