Closed Make English the de jure official language of the UK.

Currently, English is the official language in 28 US states and 88 countries and not one of them is the UK.

English is arguably one of Britain's greatest export - spoken by approximately 700 million people worldwide. It is an official language in countries such as Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Jamaica, papa new guinea and India and its about time that it is given de jure official status - enshrined in law, in it's place of origin.

We recommend the government to give English official de jure status as opposed to the de facto status is currently has.
