Rejected petition Boycott of 2014 Moscow Winter Olympics

In light of the draconian law passed by the Russian government, which makes it illegal to promote any aspect of a homosexual lifestyle in any medium accessible by Russian youth and in anticipation of further laws being passed that would see the removal of children from GLBT familes (including biological families), we the undersigned beseech the government to boycott the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

This boycott would serve to send a message to the Russian government that their attitude toward homosexuality is mediaeval and that their plans to remove children from their families cannot possibly be a positive step for the majority affected by any such decision.
