Petition Repeal the Cancer Act of 1939

More details

The Cancer Act 1939 is an Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom passed in 1939 which prosecutes any person promoting alternative treatements for curing cancer other than radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery.

This Act needs to be updated to the needs and opinions of the general public today where we believe in our freedom to practice medicine in all of its forms allowing those practitioners who want to treat cancer through alternative methods the opportunity to do so without fear that their license will be taken away or prosecuted.

Patients deserve the right to access this alternative knowledge just as anyone deserves the right to promote it.
