Closed General Service Medal 1962 & Clasp Malaysia Confrontation

Issue of the General Service Medal and Bar to those SOLDIERs who served in Malaysia from Mid December 1965 to August 1966 when Confrontation with Indonesia ended.
The GSM and/or bar was issued to the Navy and Air Force personnel right up to the end of hostilities. It was the Commonwealth soldiers that guarded these comrades of theirs in the RN and RA; Completed jungle and beach patrols and then received nothing from the British Government.
