The government should make the Eat Out to Help Out scheme a yearly event happening every August. The exact number of days can be decided depending on whatever is feasible.

The Eat Out To Help Out scheme has given many people who can't afford to eat out on a regular basis the opportunity to try new places to eat. It has also provided the whole nation a sense of unity and joy in a very depressing year. Our resilience in 2020 should be celebrated every year through this scheme. Furthoremore, in a world becoming more and more digital, it is a great incentive to boost the local economies during the summer. The scheme has already seen more than 10.5m meals claimed.
