Closed Ban all current MP's from accepting other paid work

We the people would like MP's to be banned from accepting other paid work while still working as an MP. The only exception to this should be that MP's can carry out paid speeches, as this allows the MP to share their views with the public.

o The salary for an MP is £81,932, this is more than enough to live
on.

o Every MP should dedicate each minute of their working day to their
constituents – that is what taxpayers are paying them for.

o It's reasonable to assume that the casework for each MP is now
higher due to COVID, meaning that they have no capacity for any
other work.
