Closed Suspend Air Passenger Duty until 2022

This isn’t asking for taxpayer funding. This is just asking for a much needed tax break for an industry that is on its knees. Next year, airlines will require all the help they can obtain in order to rebuild from the most challenging period in the history of commercial aviation.

Other sectors have received help from the government such as the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. However, the aviation sector has been hit harder than any other due in part to government imposed quarantines.
