Closed petition Fine businesses who put staff at risk by not enforcing face coverings

Apply a fine to any business who allows people to enter the store without either a face covering, or a valid exemption.

Many businesses are not allowing staff to challenge people not wearing masks or to withhold service. This creates an unsafe environment for staff and customers. It forces employees to work in fear. It is an inconvenience, but required to keep us safe. Staff should be encouraged to challenge people breaking safety rules, not prohibited from doing so.
