Closed Do not increase the level of Corporation Tax

It has been suggested that the the level of Corporation Tax that businesses pay could rise by 5% in the Autumn to help recover the country's debt.

To support growth and recovery, extra tax should not be levied on businesses.

Businesses small and large have struggled a lot through the Coronavirus pandemic, with many having little income whatsoever.

Some of those businesses have received support from the government, but many haven't (mostly small businesses).

The key to success and bounce back of our economy is business. It's businesses continuing to trade, diversifying and new businesses starting up.

Increasing tax will put people off from starting businesses and growth plans and have knock on impacts on jobs, etc.
