Closed petition Appoint an independent panel to conduct a Public Inquiry into the DSA / DVSA

Closed on

Call the Government to appoint an independent panel to carry out a full public inquiry into the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency and whether it is fit to continue to administer driving tests & the ADI register. Also to look at concerns of misuse of its powers & obstructing candidate complaints.

The scope should include but not limited to historic unresolved complaints since 1992:
How complaints are handled
How requests of access to data/records are handled
How many Driving Instructors PDI/ADIs have been wrongly removed from the DVSA register and lost their job
If all DVSA examiners are properly trained to conduct driving tests for pupils with disabilities
Who is responsible for direct/indirect/discrimination
The independent panel to determine the truth & accountability
