Closed petition Change Universal Credit to payments every 4 weeks

I want the broken and failing universal credit payment calendar to change. Monthly pay is not always used by employers, it's often weekly, biweekly or four weekly. Due to UC working monthly, you can lose entitlement if you have an extra pay day in that assessment period.

I want to see serious reform in this failing system it was designed to help people in work with low wages. The system you have implemented isn't doing that it's making those people it's meant to help worse off. Change the payment calendar to 4 weekly instead of monthly, as at the moment extra payments in a month can make you lose entitlement. This month of zero UC isn't helping anyone it's meant to instead it creates or deepens poverty. Fix this broken system for once and all.
