Closed petition Allow first time buyers to use pension funds to purchase a home

The Government should consider allowing first time buyers an option to utilise some percentage of their pension for their first home. The Government has introduced Help to buy and other schemes which have been helpful but due to Covid its more difficult now for youngsters to get on property ladder.

More details

Low deposit schemes are disappearing from the market. There is a shortage of homes and many first time buyers do not have the deposit needed to secure a mortgage. I request government to take immediate action to enable first time buyers to use their pension funds to purchase their first home.
