Closed petition Fund more secure motorcycle parking and better road maintenance

I would like to see more secure motorcycle parking across towns and cities, and improved road maintenance taking motorcycles into consideration. The Government should provide additional funding to local authorities to enable this investment.

A small pothole causes a minor inconvenience to a car, but to a motorcyclist they can be lethal, yet repairs are often slow to be done and rarely completed in such a way that takes into consideration a motorcycle. More secure parking should prevent theft and in turn lower a number a crimes, in-turn reducing insurance claims, and converting car parking spaces into secure motorcycle parking would also increase the number of vehicles that can be parked.
