Petition Unclaimed tax rebate for over four years

If you are a UK taxpayer and are eligible to claim a tax rebate, the time frame to claim tax back from HMRC used to be up to six years. HMRC have now reduced this to just four years.

However, HMRC can still go back up to six years, or even 20 years, if YOU have not paid enough tax.

This petition calls for the timeframe that a taxpayer can reclaim tax to be reinstated to six years or more as opposed to the current four years.
