Closed Require car drivers over 70 to be retested or do a refresher test

I would like the government to consider introducing a new requirement that car drivers be required to retake or do a refresher test at the age of 70 to see if they meet current driving standards.

Being a driver myself I have witnessed multiple times where I believe elderly drivers have not been driving safely. Due to their age reactions may be slower, vision could be impaired and not declared. As new drivers have to take a more in-depth test then it was 40 years ago I believe drivers at a certain age i.e 70 should take a current test or a simplified refresher test.
