Closed Make commercial dog walking a licensed and regulated profession

Responsible dog owners who wish to ensure the welfare of their dog whilst continuing to work utilise the service of dog walkers. At present, this industry is unregulated and unsupervised.

Some dog walkers can be dishonest and do not provide the service advertised and could even abuse your pet.
You should be confident your pet is being looked after and you are getting the service you are paying for. You are also trusting someone with access to your home. Licensing and regulation would give you some peace of mind.
