Rejected petition Teach racism and the affects of racism in our schools. Add it to the curriculum
We need to teach our kids about racism, what it means, the affects and impact it can have. We need to have this as part of the curriculum NOT just special assemblies or one off talks. This goes hand in hand with knife crime and hate crime.
More details
So that children of all races can have the equal opportunities they are entitled to without having the informal block of many people, creating a divide in schools, classrooms, home lifes. Preventing hate crimes and knife crimes by recognising that we are all the same and should be treated the same.
