This Government instructs our respective Football Associations and broadcasting authorities to impose a blanket ban on the Qatar world cup owing to the Qatar lack of positive response to the Human Rights abuses being perpetrated by contractors engaged in Stadia and infrastructure development associated with the successful world cup bid.

Workers are being denied freedom of movement, food and drink, sanitary living conditions and the salaries so important to supporting their families in their home domain.
