Closed Make it an offence with mandatory custodial sentence not to stop car for police

Any driver who fails to stop for police when requested to do so should face an automatic custodial sentence. Make failing to stop for the police a specific criminal offence with a minimum sentence of a custodial term. No ifs and no buts. If you run you should go to jail.

Before the rule is brought in it should be clearly publicised so people are aware of the consequences of their actions. The sentence for this crime should be in addition to any other sentences.
