Closed petition Suspend the benefit cap for people who have been forced out of work by Covid-19

Remove the benefit cap where at least one member of a household has been forced out of work because their place of work has closed due to Covid-19.

I was unable to continue to work during the full lock down but I was capped every month during lock down. Which resulted in very little or no money available and without any family or friends to turn to it resulted in days were there was no food for myself or husband as we put feeding our children first, and even then there was days were a meal would be bread and water for them. I have been forced out of work again and this is all going to happen again.
