Closed Provide Food and Clothes Vouchers for low-income families

The Government should provide food and clothes vouchers for families in financial hardship, whether they are in receipt of certain means-tested benefits or on a low income. Providing vouchers would ensure that the benefits provided are spent on the necessities like school clothes for kids and food.

If the vouchers are not used the relevant local authority could enquire as to why this is. This could have a hugely positive impact on children going hungry and not having enough clothes for school.
