Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Rejected petition Stop Fireworks Prior 5th November

Make it an illegal offence to set off and or for the sale of fireworks prior the 5th November in the UK.

More details

Prevent the sale of fireworks within the UK prior 5th November each year. This will prevent them getting into the hands of youths which are setting off fireworks weeks before Bonfire Night.

This causes distress and anxiety for 1000's of pets and other animals as well as the elderly and vulnerable.
