Closed Extra Financial support for indoor soft play having to close for the second time

Soft play is vital to children's physical and mental well-being, learning and social support for parents, carers, childminders etc. The original Grant's were a huge help but this has been used up on rent and ongoing utility costs. A second survival grant is needed.

The services offered by play centers are vital in the community The extensive measures that have been implemented and the dedication of staff to make the premises covid secure. Many businesses who got the original financial support were able to reopen in June and July. However for Soft Play centres we were unable to reopen till 15th August.

We urge the government to offer a further grant for this sector.
