Rejected petition Allow Support Bubbles to continue if there's a second lockdown
Allow support bubbles to continue for adults living completely alone (at the very least) if there is a second national lockdown. If possible single adult households with dependents to also continue their support bubbles.
More details
Social isolation has an astronomically devastating impact on mental health. Those living with other people will fare much better if there is a second national lockdown than those living alone. People living alone will be at a huge risk for a severe impact on their mental health if banned form seeing anyone else entirely again.
If this is not done, then there will inevitably be extra pressure on the NHS from mental health problems.

Why was this petition rejected?
We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition.
We think your petition is covered by Government or Parliament action already. If you'd like something else, you could start a new petition clearly explaining what it is.
From 5 November, it has still been possible to exercise, meet in an outdoor public space, or meet socially indoors with family or friends who are part of your support bubble. See:

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
