Closed Bring forward provisions for Business Licences for Security Providers

Plans to require security providers to have Business Licences are on hold, meaning that while individual workers need a licence, businesses are not regulated. This should change, with all security providers required to have business licences, and substantial fines for breaching relevant conditions.

The event industry, pubs and clubs, are struggling, and without adequate regulation of the industry reputable sole traders/companies are struggling to compete with security providers that do not meet appropriate standards.
